Job Summary
Experience - Minimum 3-5 years experience in the field of Vacuum Furnace/ Equipment design and Engineering Calculations Simulation/Modelling etc.
Job Location Navi Mumbai India
- Design Engineer is responsible for the Furnace and its ancillary equipments Design associated with Thermal process and collaborates with planning/program management/ purchasing/ workshop/ assembly test trials technical support and field teams on design to ensure professional engineering standards are maintained for all designs
- Provide engineering design and analysis of projects to include but not limited to: design calculation components specification cost estimation and technical services
- Provide analytical problem-solving support to the assembly factory and challenges associated with equipment fabrication/assembly/quality/tests and installation & commissioning and technical service activities
- Be an active participant as part of a multi-disciplinary team to make conceptual design development construction and documentation of equipments

- Diploma/ Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Mechatronics/ Design
- Design and analysis of mechanical/ electrical structures/ low/ high/ ultra-high vacuum system
- High Pressure Vessel design/construction
- High Temperature Hot Zone design/construction
- Heating Elements/ Heat-Shield or Insulation design and construction
- Heat Exchanger design/construction
- Hot-zone support structure/Hearth bar design/construction
- Vacuum pumps motors valves etccalculations/ design/ selection
- Hands on aptitude with an understanding of standard design practices and manufacturing techniques
- Advanced skills in 2D & 3D CAD software - preferably AutoCAD and Inventor or Solid Works
- 3D design for vacuum chambers and entire system
- Knowledge and application of numerical modelling in solid mechanics
- Thermal exchange calculation / Computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
- Finite Element Method (FEM) and thermo mechanical simulations analysis
- UHV special motion feedthroughs and in vacuum multiaxial manipulation
- In vacuum cooling and heating processes
- Working knowledge of pneumatics vacuum process systems electrical components and automation
- Knowledge and application of various type of materials surface and thermal treatments for high vacuum/ultra-high vacuum
- Knowledge about Heat treatment brazing carburizing hardening annealing melting etc.
- Knowledge about various engineering components makes etc.
- Review engineering and design for future planning in line with Companys strategy plans
- Heat Treatment & Metallurgy Equipment manufacturing companies
- High-pressure vessel High-pressure quench motor Heat-exchanger Hotbox etc.

Required Education:
