Role Overview

We are hiring a Junior Data Engineer to support data engineering and analytics work for confidential client initiatives.

This is an entry-level hands-on role focused on SQL Python data cleaning data validation data transformation database loading documentation and support for analytics and AI workflows.

The selected candidate will work with senior data scientists AI engineers and data engineers to build reliable datasets validate business data prepare data pipelines and support analytics systems.

This role is suitable for freshers or junior professionals with strong fundamentals in SQL Python databases and problem-solving even if you have limited professional experience.

Requirements

01 year of experience in data engineering analytics software development or related project work.

Strong fundamentals in SQL and basic Python programming.

Hands-on exposure to Pandas for data cleaning or analysis.

Basic understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL MySQL SQL Server or similar.

Ability to work with CSV Excel JSON and database tables.

Understanding of data cleaning validation and transformation concepts.

Familiarity with Git / GitHub is preferred.

Exposure to Docker APIs Airflow dbt PySpark or cloud tools is a plus but not mandatory.

Strong analytical thinking problem-solving ability and willingness to learn.

Ability to work from StratLytics Bhubaneswar office.

/ B.E. / MCA / . / . in Computer Science IT Data Science Statistics Mathematics Engineering or related field preferred.
