MES Software Engineer
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct business requirement gathering process analysis and requirement analysis for MES (Manufacturing Execution System) projects. Participate in solution evaluation and onsite project implementation.
2. Assist the Project Manager in tracking implementation plans coordinating project resources monitoring and controlling project execution and making necessary adjustments to ensure project delivery meets schedule cost and quality objectives.
3. Provide operation maintenance and technical support for implemented MES projects. Analyze and troubleshoot user-reported issues from both operational and system functionality perspectives and drive continuous system optimization and improvement.
4. Participate in the iteration optimization enhancement and upgrade of existing products and new projects. Analyze new functional requirements design solutions and develop application code.
5. Prepare project implementation documentation reports user training materials unit/module code and testing deliverables. Resolve technical issues and track them through to completion.
6. Work closely with business departments to gather understand analyze and document business requirements.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science Information Management or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
2. Proficient in C# and Java with strong experience in Visual Core WinForms DevExpress Dapper Entity Framework (EF) XML Redis microservices architecture CS/BS application development and Web API frameworks.
3. Hands-on experience with jQuery HTML5 and CSS3 with a solid understanding of DIV CSS page layout and front-end development.
4. Familiar distributed application development and proficient in SQL Server and PostgreSQL database development. Experience with stored procedure
development is required. Experience in database backup archiving and troubleshooting is preferred.
5. Good understanding of manufacturing business processes including production planning material management production tracking and quality management.
6. Familiarity with ERP systems including related functional modules and business processes.
7. Experience in planning and developing interfaces between MES and ERP systems is required. Experience in production equipment data collection and integration is an advantage.
8. Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and common system administration commands.
