AWS DevOps Engineer

Job Description:** - Design and implement scalable secure and high-performance applications on AWS. - Develop architectural blueprints and detailed documentation for applications. - Collaborate with development teams to ensure that applications are built according to architectural guidelines. - Implement best practices for cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services like EC2 Lambda RDS S3 and more. - Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and delivery. - Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications. - Monitor and optimize application performance on AWS. - Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams on AWS best practices and architecture principles. **Skillset:** 1. **AWS Expertise:** - Deep understanding of AWS services such as EC2 S3 RDS Lambda CloudFormation ECS/EKS and VPC. - Experience with AWS IAM for security management. - Knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework. 2. **Architecture Design:** - Strong experience in designing highly available scalable and resilient architectures. - Ability to create detailed architecture diagrams and documentation. - Experience with microservices architecture and serverless design patterns. 3. **DevOps:** - Proficiency in infrastructure as code using tools like AWS CloudFormation Terraform or AWS CDK. - Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible Puppet or Chef. - Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch ELK Stack or Prometheus. 4. **CI/CD Pipeline:** - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins GitLab CI AWS CodePipeline or CircleCI. - Proficiency in setting up automated build test and deployment processes. - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. 5. **General Skills:** - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. - Experience with agile and scrum methodologies.
