FullFullstack (just Fullstack is not enough) DEV+ops Platform Engineer

Knihobot is a recommerce platform operating in 9 markets shipping books to 40 countries with over 10 million books sold. We are the 16th fastest growing tech startup in the CEE region. Every day we sell around 30000 books.

Were not looking for someone to execute specs. Youll identify what needs of our systems architecture it solve scaling issue before they happend and ship it end to end in direct cooperation with David Gazdoš (CTO). A lot of freedom a lot of responsibility.

• End-to-end ownership: From identifying the problem to shipping the fix. No handoffs.
• Tech stack: Kubernetes AWS Talos Terraform ArgoCD Prometheus Loki Tempo Manticore Search Duckdb Mysql Kafka TypeScript React NestJs AdonisJs SeaweedFS Redis.
• Kubernetes and devops: blah blah blah
• Agentic development: AI tools are a core part of how we build. Youre expected to use them to deliver complex features independently and fast.
• SRE: You watch dashboards proactively catch problems before they surface and fix them before customers even notice.

• Youve already built things at scale of hundreds of CPUs hundreds gigs of RAM thousands ingress requests / second.
• Youre anchored in both dev and devops: Youve worked across the full stack ideally as the single person responsible for the outcome.
• You dont wait for a ticket: You identify what needs to be built and you start.
• End-to-end is the main reason youre here: Not a compromise. You want the space to design and build and youre done with everything else getting in the way.
• Languages: fluent Czech advanced English

• Salary 100000 - 156000 CZK/month
• Direct collaboration with our founder David
• $200/month budget for AI tools of your choosing more if justified
• Full onsite at Kolbenova moving closer to the city centre later this year
