You will design develop and maintain software for industrial automated systems deployed in manufacturing plants. This role combines hands-on development in C# and Python with close collaboration across AI engineering controls and mechanical teams to deliver reliable scalable and production-ready applications running on the shop floors.

Design implement and maintain industrial software applications in C# and Python.
Define software architecture and component design for new modules applying established design patterns and documenting solutions with UML.
Develop multi-threaded and multi-process components for real-time image acquisition processing and data handling.
Integrate software with industrial hardware and control systems including cameras PLCs and field devices over standard industrial protocols.
Profile and optimize application performance focusing on latency throughput and memory usage in continuous 24/7 operation.
Design and maintain data persistence layers and interfaces with relational databases for traceability and production reporting.
Participate in code reviews maintain version control practices with Git and contribute to CI/CD and testing workflows.
Support commissioning deployment and troubleshooting of software at customer and plant sites.
Document technical solutions and share knowledge across multidisciplinary teams.

Must Haves:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
2 years of experience developing and deploying production software in industrial embedded or real-time environments.
Solid proficiency in C# (.NET) and Python including object-oriented design and asynchronous programming.
Solid understanding of software architecture design patterns and UML modeling with the ability to design maintainable and extensible systems.
Hands-on experience with multi-threaded and concurrent programming synchronization and performance optimization.
Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows (branching strategies pull requests code review).
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL SQL Server) and SQL.

Nice to have:

Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and hardware integration (Ethernet/IP PROFINET Modbus TCP OPC UA GigE Vision) is a plus.
Experience with desktop UI frameworks (WPF PyQt/PySide) is a plus.
Experience with web technologies (JavaScript Django) is a plus.
