We strive to provide our customers with superior customer service through our sales approach and delivering our product on our private fleet of trucks. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: · Responsible for oversight of warehouse and delivery/logistics operations for Harahan distribution center. · Supervise, develop and train personnel including: o Warehouse operations team o Truck driver delivery team · Proactively communicate to management the opportunities and challenges within the warehousing and logistics operations for the Harahan location. · Maintain and monitor internal controls over inventory and delivery process. · Loading, unloading, and stocking product (appliances and furniture). · Operate forklift and other material handling equipment. · Pull customer orders. · Perform duties accurately and safely. JOB REQUIRMENTS: · Warehouse management experience. · Operational experience including understanding of warehouse and warehouse equipment operations. · Operational experience surrounding outbound logistics and trucking is a plus. · Strong organizational, leadership, multi-tasking, problem-solving and analytical skills. · Ability to prioritize, organize and accomplish goals by developing and communicating with staff. · Demonstrate proficiency with various computer programs including Microsoft Office. · Physical ability to lift, carry, push and pull 60-pound weight requirements. WORK SCHEDULE: This is a full time, hourly position (40 hours/week). Monday through Friday. Occasionally may be required to work on evenings and/or weekends.
