The primary purpose of a Sales Engineer (VRF Solution) in Trane Technologies is to drive revenue growth and profitability by identifying opportunities directly engaging with customers providing energy-efficient solutions and closing sales deals to achieve sales targets in an ethical way. This role is crucial in building and maintaining strong customer relationships ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of the company.

What you will do:
1. Market Expansion and Identify Opportunities:
- Understand market through market intelligence and competitors analysis
- Understand companys growth strategies
- Proactively identify and pursue business opportunities that are aligning with companys growth strategies to expand the market coverage
- Use companys sales management system to build project pipelines
2. Customer Engagement Needs Assessment and Solutions Development:
- Engage with property owners general contractors and design institutes to understand customer needs and collaborate with the technical support team to develop customized HVAC System technology solutions including cost estimation specification.
- Present the proposal and highlight the benefits and features of solutions to customers and work with the technical support team to create competitive technical solutions.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships to secure project opportunities.
3. Collaboration and Project fulfillment
- Collaborate with Engineering Manufacturing and other various departments to ensure projects completion.
- Coordinate with other teams to resolve quality issues and ensure customer satisfaction
4. Oversee contract term implementation and ensure collection
5. Comply with companys sales processes governance and compliance standards.
- Fulfill daily sales activities per companys requirements.
- Reporting and system updates
What you will bring:
- Bachelors degree or above preferably in HVAC building environment and equipment engineering mechatronics or other science and engineering disciplines.
- Over 3 years of sales experience in Industrial products and solutions selling is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of the technical aspects of the products or services being sold. Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts and solutions.
- Sales Acumen: Understanding of the direct sales process and the ability to align technical solutions with business needs. Ability to influence and persuade customers to adopt the proposed solutions.
- Customer-Focused: Strong customer service skills with a focus on understanding and meeting customer needs; Ability to build trust and act as a reliable technical advisor to customers.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including product development engineering and customer support.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms. Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design effective solutions for customers. Ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and customer engagements simultaneously. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of basic accounting principles and AR processes. Ability to manage invoices payments and credit assessments effectively.
