Duties and responsibilities as they align to Ryans Key Results

- Actively engages with client upon report completion to discuss any valuation questions that may arise.
- Undertakes research and critical thinking and completes more complex valuation reports independently with peer review.
- Is able to communicate and liaise with industry experts.
- Shows diligence in meeting monthly budget targets with a work ethic to excel.
- Has achieved AACI or completed demo being one of the final steps to achieve the AACI .
Education and Experience:
- Post-Secondary Degree required with preference having a business (real estate) background.
- Path to AACI designation nearing completion is an asset.
- Minimum two years experience in valuation.
- Desire to perform in a high-energy team environment.
- Demonstrates leadership problem solving and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks work on multiple assignments manage ambiguity and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.
- Seeks to advance involvement in the real estate industry through attending professional organization meetings and networking functions.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and Internet navigation and research. Experience with appraisal related programs such as Argus are an asset.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid drivers license required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has limited supervisory responsibilities with an Analyst to mentor them on basic appraisal practice.
Work Environment:
- Standard indoor working environment.
- Occasional long periods of sitting or standing while working.
- Position requires regular interaction with employees and clients both in person via e-mail and telephone.
- Independent travel requirement: 50 to 100%.
Compensation Pay Transparency
For Vancouver BC based roles the base salary hiring range for this position is $50000 - $66000.
Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation.
