Job Summary

Under the direction of the Front of House Management Team the Polisher is responsible for cleaning polishing and properly storing all front-of-house glassware and utensils while maintaining the cleanliness organization and efficiency of the dish area and dishwashing equipment.

The day to day:

  • Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Wash and clean all glassware flatware and front-of-house utensils.
  • Polish glassware and flatware to ensure they are clean and presentation-ready.
  • Clean and sanitize dishwasher mats dish carts dish racks and surrounding work areas.
  • Maintain the cleanliness organization and overall condition of the dish area throughout the shift.
  • Assist with receiving organizing and stocking supplies and products as required.
  • Safely handle use and store cleaning products in accordance with established procedures.
  • Perform general dish area maintenance including sweeping mopping organizing and garbage removal.
  • Follow all health safety sanitation and workplace procedures.
  • Support the Front of House team with additional cleaning and maintenance duties as required.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in a dishwasher polishing or similar hospitality role is considered an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Ability to follow direction work effectively as part of a team and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
  • Ability to remain standing and active for the duration of the shift.
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • This is a full time position
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
