Your Role in Supporting Our Members:â

As a Platform Technology Lead you willoversee the end-to-end design development and implementation of our technologyinitiativeswithin theplatform. You will play a critical part in modernizing our lending capabilitiesimproving customerexperienceand ensuring platform scalabilityperformanceand regulatory this role you will require a deep understanding of platform architecture integration and scalability to ensure the delivery of robust and efficient platform services. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to align platform capabilities with businessobjectivesand drive innovation

This is aâFull-time Permanentrole based at our Head Officein Vancouver British Columbiaâand will report directly to theLending Technology Senior Manager. Our head office is based in Vancouver but we are open to candidates in BC and Ontario. While this position is for an existing vacancy and provides a remote work arrangement you will be expected to be onâsite for events and business demands.

• Executingona strategic roadmap for platform development thatalignsbusiness goals and enhances user experience
• Providingtechnical leadership and guidance to the platform team ensuring best practices in architecture design anddevelopment.
• Leading a cross-functional team of engineerstestersandarchitects fosteringa collaborative and innovative environment
• Ensuringthe platform architecture is robust scalable and secure
• Providing guidance on best practices and technical standards
• Leadingplatform-related projects from planning and execution to delivery ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
• Coordinating with stakeholders to define project technical requirements andobjectives
• Implementingandmaintainingmetrics tomonitorplatform performance reliability and user engagement
• Workingclosely with internal teams (e.g. product data platforms retail) to understand needs and ensure platform solutions meet user demands
• Managingrelationships with external vendors and service providers tooptimizeplatform functionality and integrations
• Stayingabreast of industry trends and emerging technologies identifying opportunities toleveragenew tools and processes.
• Ensuringcompliance with company policies and industry regulations related to platform usage and data security
• Incorporating into the platform roadmap compliance / regulatory items and legacy systems modernization

WhatâYoullâBring toâthe Team:â

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
• 7 years of experience in platform developmentintegrationand management with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role
• Azure Full-Stack experience: CSS/HTML React / Angular Azure Web App Services Java & JavaScript Python SQL/databases RESTAPIs
• Working knowledge ofnCino andSalesForce
• Understanding of cloud technologies (e.g. AWS Azure) API development microservicesarchitecture
• Strong understanding of platform architecture and integration technologies
• Working knowledge of DevOps principles. Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk and Grafana
• Understanding of Canadian banking and/or payments ecosystem including the partner landscape

WhatYoullEarn:

This role offersa salary rangeofâ$113100 to $139650 per annum. The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications skillspreviousexperience and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program subject to program eligibility requirements.
