Materials Technician

• Receive inspect and document incoming materials and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements
• Manage material inventory including tracking issuing and replenishing stock to support project operations
• Coordinate the storage handling and distribution of materials while maintaining organized warehouse and laydown areas
• Verify packing slips shipping documents and material certifications for completeness and accuracy
• Conduct routine inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate records and minimize discrepancies
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and telehandlers in accordance with site procedures and safety requirements
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized inventory management systems
• Work within site permit systems safety procedures and company policies to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing

• Previous experience as a Materials Technician Materials Coordinator Warehouseperson or similar role in an industrial construction mining or oil and gas environment
• Experience managing inventory shipping and receiving and material control processes
• Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to read and interpret packing lists purchase orders material specifications and shipping documentation
• Previous forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment is considered an asset
• Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to work in fast-paced schedule-driven environments and adapt to changing priorities
• Willingness to work 10-12 hour shifts overtime and consecutive days as required
• Strong commitment to safety quality and teamwork
