- Receive inspect and document incoming materials and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements
- Manage material inventory including tracking issuing and replenishing stock to support project operations
- Coordinate the storage handling and distribution of materials while maintaining organized warehouse and laydown areas
- Verify packing slips shipping documents and material certifications for completeness and accuracy
- Conduct routine inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate records and minimize discrepancies
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and telehandlers in accordance with site procedures and safety requirements
- Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized inventory management systems
- Work within site permit systems safety procedures and company policies to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Previous experience as a Materials Technician Materials Coordinator Warehouseperson or similar role in an industrial construction mining or oil and gas environment
- Experience managing inventory shipping and receiving and material control processes
- Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to read and interpret packing lists purchase orders material specifications and shipping documentation
- Previous forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment is considered an asset
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast-paced schedule-driven environments and adapt to changing priorities
- Willingness to work 10-12 hour shifts overtime and consecutive days as required
- Strong commitment to safety quality and teamwork
