Manager Continuous Improvement
Job Summary
We are currently hiring for a Manager Continuous Improvement in the Environment Health & Safety Department. This is a new role within Halifax Water.
As a Manager Continuous Improvement you will:
- Operate with a high degree of professional autonomy.
- Lead enterprise-wide initiatives to improve efficiency effectiveness and regular compliance.
- Advise senior leadership by analyzing complex issues and delivering clear recommendations.
- Implement standardized continuous improvement tools and methods across the organization.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment on complex or high-risk challenges.
- Build strong partnerships to advance continuous improvement and organizational resilience.
To do this job you need to have:
- A post-secondary degree in Business Administration Public Administration Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in continuous improvement compliance governance or organizational effectiveness within a regulated public-sector or complex enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated experience establishing and leading cross-functional improvement initiatives.
- Proven experience supporting or advising senior leadership
- Leadership or supervisory experience is considered an asset.
