Role Description: We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead with 12 years of experience strong enterprise Java expertise deep application support knowledge and the ability to lead teams technically while owning complex systems end to end. Top 3 Required Skills: 1. Indepth knowledge of SSL/TLS concepts and Application Support & Batch Processing. 2. Strong handson experience with Java 8 and Java 17 and Spring Framework (Legacy applications). 3. Strong expertise in SOAP Web Services and deep understanding on RESTful services and REST services. Top 3 Preferred Skills: 1. Unix scripting 2. Database skills 3. Architecture & Technical Design Security & SSL In depth knowledge of SSL/TLS concepts Strong hands-on experience with: o Certificates (server client CA) o Keystores and truststores SSL configuration and troubleshooting in enterprise applications Java & Framework Expertise Strong hands-on experience with Java 8 and Java 17 Solid working knowledge of Spring Framework (Legacy applications) Proven ability to debug enhance and optimize legacy Java codebases Service Technologies Strong expertise in SOAP Web Services (approximately 80% of our services are SOAP based) Deep understanding of RESTful services including: o Legacy REST implementations using JAX RS / Jersey o Modern approaches to building REST services Good understanding of service design integration and backward compatibility Application Support & Batch Processing Excellent Application Support knowledge including: o Production support processes o Incident triage root cause analysis and issue resolution o End to end operational ownership of applications Strong experience supporting batch intensive environments including: o Job scheduling monitoring and troubleshooting o Supporting large volumes of batch jobs Hands on experience executing and troubleshooting: o Shell scripts o Database procedures and queries Database Skills Strong knowledge of SQL and core database concepts Proven experience in: o Executing and fine-tuning stored procedures o Optimizing complex SQL queries o Database performance troubleshooting Unix / Linux & Scripting Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux environments Hands on scripting experience with: o Shell scripting o Korn Shell (ksh) o AWK o Perl Architecture & Technical Design Strong proficiency in creating: o Technical and logical diagrams o Sequence diagrams o Architecture diagrams Ability to clearly document and communicate system flows integrations and dependencies. Leadership & Collaboration Proven ability to technically guide and mentor team members especially during complex production issues. Strong hands-on technical leadership with the ability to unblock teams. Effective collaboration across development support and infrastructure teams.
