AsanElectrical Engineering Intern based at Rocket Labs site in Toronto Canada you will have the opportunity to support the Space Systems Division in bringing new reaction wheel and star tracker products to market as well as supporting implementation of new electronics design Electrical Engineeringteamis responsible forthe developmenttestand maintenance of all the flight electronics in our reaction wheel and star tracker products.

YOULL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS

Must be enrolled in a bachelors masters or doctorate degree program in an engineering physics or math discipline and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship
GPA of 3.0 or above
3 months of applied engineering experience (internship laboratory and personal/team project experience is applicable)
THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE
GPA of 3.5 or above
6 months of applied engineering experience (internship laboratory and personal/team project experience is applicable)
Hands on Experience working with hardware (Arduinos raspberry pi)
Experiencecreating simple circuits and prototyping with a breadboard or break out board
Soldering experience
Python experience
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 16 consecutive weeks beginning August 31 2026
- Sit at desk andoperatecomputerkeyboardand office equipment for extended periods
- Use hands with dexterity to operate controls tools and technical equipment as needed
- Read technical documents drawings and computer screens requiring close and distance vision
- Move between buildings labs and work areas as needed
- Work in office and technical environments with occasional exposure tonoisedustand fumesin production areas.
COMPENSATION AND OTHER BENEFITS
- Pay Range CAN: 60008 CAD Salary
- You may be eligible for a stipend to subsidize relocation costs
The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Ontario Pay Transparency Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
Base salary is only one part of Rocket Labs compensation package for this role.
