Corporate Accounting Analyst

• Process and apply cash receipts to customer accounts accurately and in a timely manner ensuring the integrity of accounts receivable records.

• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve financial processes.

• Prepare and maintain general ledger account reconciliations and working papers for monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements.

• Prepare routine journal entries ensuring compliance with accounting standards policies and internal controls.

• Support system compliance and testing activities including documentation validation and issue follow-up as required.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Undergraduate degree or Diploma in Business Accounting or a combination of equivalent skills and experience.

• Experience processing cash receipts application amongst multiple entities considered an asset.

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Demonstrated commitment to accuracy accountability and continuous improvement.

• Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across various departments and stakeholders.

• Ability to manage a large volume of work and can consistently meet deadlines while ensuring high attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them.

• Well-developed analytical critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend practical solutions.
