Role Description

Validate RESTful and event-driven APIs to ensure functional accuracy performance and reliability.
Design and execute API test cases covering positive negative and edge-case scenarios.
Perform automated API testing using tools and frameworks such as Postman Karate and REST Assured.
Validate API security authentication and authorization using OAuth2 and JWT.
Collaborate with API Developers Solution Architects and DevOps teams across delivery pods.
Support CI/CD integrated testing defect triage and release sign-off.
Ensure compliance with enterprise quality security and regulatory standards.

Essential Skills

47 years of experience in API or integration testing within BFSI or regulated environments.
Strong understanding of REST APIs JSON HTTP protocols and integration patterns.
Experience with API test automation and defect management tools.
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong analytical troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
