Job Description

• For the OT Network Management Systems department we are looking for an OT Data Engineer.
• You will be responsible for the end-to-end management and further development of OT data processing handling a large amount of real-time data coming in from the field and flowing into historical data and data platforms.
• You ensure stability security and performance through health checks and support upgrades and patching; you plan and implement necessary data refreshes in coordination with stakeholders and guarantee data quality management.
• At the same time you realize new business needs and integrations with surrounding systems through research development and continuous optimization.
• You design and manage the infrastructure and pipelines (databases) required to make data available to analysts and data scientists within the business.

Context

• Demonstrable experience as a System Administrator in an ICT infrastructure environment - senior 5 years
• Demonstrable experience at system engineer level with at least one of the specialist systems: Unix/Linux/Windows systems
• Demonstrable experience with setting up databases via Oracle and Apache Cassandra
• Proficient in scripting in Python and Shell
• Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2

• Demonstrable experience with relational databases (Oracle SQL and PL/SQL) - 5 Years Senior - Must have
• Demonstrable experience with scripting in Python - Must have
• Demonstrable experience with scripting in Shel - Must have
• Demonstrable experience at systems engineer level with at least one of the specialist systems: Unix/Linux/Windows systems - Must have
• The candidate can demonstrate during a potential interview that they possess a strong eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude - Must have
• Demonstrable experience with major business-critical applications. - Should have
• Demonstrable experience with ISO27001 operations - Security mindset - Should have
• Demonstrable experience with the setup and maintenance of Apache Cassandra environments - 2 Years - Mid-level - Should have
• Experience with OT SCADA systems is a plus. - Should have
• Language requirement: Dutch-speaking at European CEFR level C2. - Should have
