About The Opportunity

Programmeds Facility Management department are currently seeking a Facilities & Asset Managerto join our team on a 12-week fixed term contract focused on our contract within the Education space.

This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about facilities management and thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The FAM plays a pivotal role in maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders while coordinating a range of asset management and maintenance activities across the portfolio.

Nature of the position: 12 Week Contract

Location: Burswood

Key Responsibilities

• Develop facilities management strategies and asset management plans to deliver work order response and maintenance schedules
• Conducting regular surveys of assets and prepare risk ranked program of corrective and preventative maintenance works
• Monitor analyse and report facility management service performance and recommend effective improvement strategies
• Preparation and updating maintenance plans
• Ensuring that effective planning and scheduling of corrective and preventative maintenance work is carried out within budget and on time
• Ensuring OH&S requirements are met for the contract
• Liaise with site management teams to determine their requirements
• Provide accurate and timely reports for the contract manager and senior management
• Identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives

About you

• Demonstrated experience in facilities management infrastructure projects or the building and construction industry.
• Proficiency in MAS Microsoft Excel Outlook and other relevant systems and software.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset with a strong customer focus.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a high-demand environment.
