About the Role 

Our GTI Team is searching for a friendly energetic IT Help Desk Intern to join us at our Cairo location. Youll be the go-to person for our employees dealing with daily tech issues. Youll play a major role in addressing internal user issues answering questions and helping things run smoothly. If you like solving problems meeting new people and youre eager to jump into IT support we want to hear from you!! 

What youll do....

• Youll be one of our go-to help desk Interns at our Cairo location! Youll resolve daily hardware and software problems on laptops desktops phones and printers.
• When issues cant be solved remotely youll jump in to assist employees face-to-face.
• Keep the business running smoothly aiming for same-day ticket closures. 
• Set up machines ensure new hires & current employees are up and running with the correct access.
• If there are system upgrades or we have unexpected outages youll work directly with the global network and engineering teams. 
• Keep a clean and detailed record of all company equipment/gear.
• Ensure every process aligns with our our company security policies and procedures

Qualifications :

• 6 months - 2 years in the IT Help Desk or Tech Support field
• Recent graduates with prior internship and solid tech background are encouraged to apply!
• A Degree in Computer Science IT or something similar is great but hands-on experience and a knack for fixing computers is just as valuable!!
• You should have a working knowledge of Windows OS Active Directory basic networking cables routers IP addresses etc.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A Network CCNA or Microsoft Fundamentals are a bonus but a willingness to learn on the job is even better!
• Good English and Arabic communication is key youll need to explain tech issues to end-users who are not familiar with technical issues.
• A positive attitude and staying calm under pressure will be key
• High-level of integrity is a must
• Youll also need to be open with rotating shifts including weekends as our our site runs 24/7.
