Job Summary
- Drafting policies procedures and manuals on supply chain and responsible sourcing compliance.
- Conducting supply chain reviews and supporting the implementation of the organisations Responsible Sourcing Policy.
- Developing training programmes on supply chain and responsible sourcing.
- Engaging in training and capacity building of the organisations employees and suppliers.
- Verifying supplier documentation licences beneficial ownership information and production capacity.
- Monitoring supplier compliance with the requirements of international best practice.
- Documenting and reporting findings.
- Conducting supply chain mapping.
- Monitoring and documenting consignments.
- Coordinating logistics and security for precious metals.
- Identifying assessing and rating supply chain risks.
- Developing risk control plans and risk management strategies.
- Documentation and reporting.
- A minimum of a Degree in Geology Mining Metallurgy Business Administration Commerce or a related field .
- A Lead Auditor Course in Occupational Health and Safety (ISO 45001) and Environment (ISO 14001) will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience .
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Economics Statistics Finance or a related field. 25 years of relevant work experience in data analysis business analytics or a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions pivot tables VLOOKUP macros). Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI Tableau or Google Data Studio. Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data interpretation. Excellent analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear actionable insights. Familiarity with SQL for data querying and extraction is a plus. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools processes and business challenges.
