Job Summary
- Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with operational needs.
- Source evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure quality goods and services at competitive prices.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Plan and coordinate logistics operations including transportation warehousing and distribution.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies contracts and statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases deliveries and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement and logistics with project timelines.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Procurement Logistics or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in procurement and logistics planning.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes vendor management and inventory control.
- Proficiency in ERP systems or procurement software.
- Excellent negotiation analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Must be a member of Zimbabwe Institute of Procurement & Supply (ZIPS) and or Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).
- Preference for immediately available candidates.
