Job Summary

  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify priority areas for humanitarian intervention in the Harare district.
  • Design and implement robust project frameworks that align with organizational goals and global humanitarian standards.
  • Coordinate logistics and resource allocation to ensure timely and efficient delivery of relief supplies and services.
  • Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with government bodies NGOs and community leaders to enhance program impact.
  • Monitor and evaluate ongoing projects to ensure compliance with safety protocols ethical guidelines and donor requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports on program progress challenges and outcomes for internal review and external stakeholders.
  • Lead capacity-building workshops for local staff and volunteers to strengthen community resilience and self-reliance.


Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of professional experience in the humanitarian or development sector.
  • Proven track record of managing complex field operations and leading cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of humanitarian principles emergency response protocols and project management methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with a capacity to engage effectively with diverse cultural groups.
  • Flexibility and resilience to work in dynamic environments including potential travel to remote areas.
  • Relevant degree in International Relations Social Work Development Studies or a related field.



Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Economics Statistics Finance or a related field. 25 years of relevant work experience in data analysis business analytics or a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions pivot tables VLOOKUP macros). Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI Tableau or Google Data Studio. Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data interpretation. Excellent analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear actionable insights. Familiarity with SQL for data querying and extraction is a plus. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools processes and business challenges.
