Job Summary
- Direct end-to-end project lifecycles for major telecommunications deployments ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
- Spearhead the design and optimization of FTTX/FTTH networks focusing on GPON XGS-PON ODN and passive outside-plant components.
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation including fiber route strategies splice configurations network schematics and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Oversee large-scale infrastructure rollouts managing significant capital budgets and resource allocation efficiently.
- Facilitate collaboration across multiple departments and external partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Apply strategic decision-making and leadership skills to navigate complex challenges and drive innovation.
- Utilize industry-standard project management software to track progress manage risks and report on key performance indicators.
- Bachelors degree in IT Engineering Telecommunications Computer Science Project Management or a related field.
- Masters Degree will be an Added Advantage
- Minimum 5 years experience in project management preferably within a telecom operator ISP technology company or large enterprise.
- Proven experience managing telecommunications or technology projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong experience in FTTX/FTTH network design including GPON/XGS-PON ODN and passive outside-plant infrastructure.
- Experience developing fibre route plans splice plans network designs and BOMs.
- Strong technical knowledge of GPON XGS-PON IP/MPLS DWDM SD-WAN core networking OSP and ISP infrastructure.
- Experience managing large-scale network infrastructure projects and significant CapEx budgets.
- Excellent leadership strategic thinking decision-making and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project Excel PowerPoint Teams SharePoint or equivalent project collaboration tools.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of French or local market languages is an advantage.
- PRINCE2 PMP Agile ITIL or telecom-specific certifications are strong advantages.
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Economics Statistics Finance or a related field. 25 years of relevant work experience in data analysis business analytics or a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions pivot tables VLOOKUP macros). Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI Tableau or Google Data Studio. Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data interpretation. Excellent analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear actionable insights. Familiarity with SQL for data querying and extraction is a plus. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools processes and business challenges.
