Our client is a leading international organisation operating in the protective textiles sector and is looking to appoint a technically strong Technical & Quality Manager in Vietnam (North) with deep expertise in flame-resistant fabric.

Technical & Quality Manager Inherent FR Fabrics

Based in Hung Yen Province Vietnam

ORGANIZATION: This is a senior technical leadership opportunity for a professional with strong end-to-end knowledge of Inherent Flame-Resistant fabrics and the textile manufacturing value chain. The role will combine technical leadership product development manufacturing quality governance and team management. If you have deep technical expertise in inherent flame-resistant fabrics and are looking for a senior role combining technical leadership quality product development and manufacturing we would be interested in hearing from you.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the end-to-end development and manufacturing of Inherent Flame-Resistant fabric products.
  

• Drive fibre selection and material optimization based on performance requirements and customer needs.
  

• Oversee spinning weaving processing dyeing and finishing activities for IFR products.
  

• Develop and optimize fabric constructions to meet flame-resistant performance comfort durability and certification
  

requirements.

• Lead technical discussions with suppliers customers and internal stakeholders.
  

• Support new product development innovation and continuous process improvement.
  

• Govern end-to-end process control and quality assurance.
  

• Ensure compliance with relevant standards testing and certifications for protective and flame-resistant textiles.
  

• Troubleshoot manufacturing and quality issues across the textile value chain.
  

• Own product specifications and revisions for safety fabrics.
  

• Coordinate with product development quality sourcing and production teams.
  

• Mentor and manage technical/production teams.
  

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Textile Technology Textile Engineering Fibre Science or equivalent.
  

• 10 years of relevant experience in Inherent Flame-Resistant product development manufacturing and quality.
  

• Strong technical expertise specifically in Flame resistant fabrics.
  

• Experience in protective textiles or industrial Flame-resistant fabrics is highly relevant.
  

• End-to-end knowledge of fibre selection spinning weaving processing dyeing and finishing.
  

• Strong understanding of FR standards testing certifications and performance requirements.
  

• Strong leadership team management and stakeholder management capability.
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  

• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment.
  

• Good English and Vietnamese communication skills.
  

• Willing to travel to the companys office in North Vietnam as required.
