Supplier Quality Engineer

On behalf of our client we are hiring a Supplier Quality Engineer to support their supply chain quality operations. Our client is a global high-tech manufacturing enterprise delivering complex machinery and precision systems to international markets.
Joining as a Supplier Quality Engineer you will lead supplier quality initiatives evaluate new supplier capabilities and drive continuous quality improvement across the supply base. You will play a vital role during NPI phases and mass production to ensure vendor deliverables meet exact engineering standards.
Lead supplier quality activities to ensure vendor partners achieve high-quality performance during NPI and serial production.
Conduct technical quality assessments and audits of prospective new suppliers.
Drive root cause analysis and problem-solving activities for material defects identified in production.
Ensure Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) engineering requirements are effectively communicated to and deployed by suppliers.
Monitor vendor quality metrics (PPM yield) and implement continuous improvement programs.
Facilitate technical exchanges between internal engineering teams and external suppliers coaching vendors on standardized production.
Job Requirements
Technical skills:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
More than 5 years of proven experience in Supplier Quality Engineering within high-precision or regulated manufacturing industries.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001 / ISO 14001) and supplier measurement practices.
Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Experience with surface treatment processes (plating painting coating) is strongly preferred.
Soft skills:
Fluent English verbal and written communication skills.
Proven leadership and supplier-coaching capabilities.
Assertive communication style to resolve complex quality disputes across organizational boundaries.

Required Skills:
Technical skills: Bachelors degree in Accounting Auditing or Corporate Finance. Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Accountant. Mandatory: Prior experience working in manufacturing or export companies. Strong understanding of tax AP/AR inventory accounting and cost variance analysis. Proficient in Excel with a preference for candidates who have ERP experience. English at CEFR level B2 or higher (Upper-Intermediate). Soft skills: Careful detail-oriented with strong logical thinking and data analysis skills. Effective communication and team collaboration. Ownership and self-leadership in daily tasks. Ability to work remotely on Saturdays when there is urgent work.
