Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

On behalf of our client we are hiring a Quality Engineer to join their Quality Management team. Our client is a global high-tech manufacturing enterprise delivering complex machinery and precision systems to international markets.
As a Quality Engineer you will serve as the primary quality representative for assigned customer accounts. You will drive end-to-end product quality assurance manage non-conformance resolution and ensure customer quality specifications are flawlessly integrated into manufacturing processes.
Manage overall quality matters for assigned customers handling both internal production issues and customer-facing quality claims.
Guide and supervise QA inspectors on daily inspection tasks and quality standards.
Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) investigations and issue formal quality reports including 8D reports and concession requests.
Coordinate cross-functional communication between internal production teams and external client quality representatives.
Deploy customer quality requirements from the First Article Inspection (FAI) stage into floor execution (checklists inspection instructions product standards).
Advise on appropriate precision measuring instruments and tools for customer product validation.
Support in-process quality audits and external customer/third-party audits.
Job Requirements
Technical skills:
College degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with mechanical processes including welding precision machining and complex assembly.
In-depth practical knowledge of quality tools: 8D FMEA PPAP MSA and SPC.
Familiarity with international quality standards (ISO 9001 DIN etc.) and NPI quality frameworks.
Soft skills:
Fluent in English (verbal and written communication).
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills adhering to a Win-Win principle.
Methodical problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Required Skills:
Technical skills: Bachelors degree in Accounting Auditing or Corporate Finance. Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Accountant. Mandatory: Prior experience working in manufacturing or export companies. Strong understanding of tax AP/AR inventory accounting and cost variance analysis. Proficient in Excel with a preference for candidates who have ERP experience. English at CEFR level B2 or higher (Upper-Intermediate). Soft skills: Careful detail-oriented with strong logical thinking and data analysis skills. Effective communication and team collaboration. Ownership and self-leadership in daily tasks. Ability to work remotely on Saturdays when there is urgent work.
