[EMC] NEO SoC1 Embedded SW Engineer (QnX)

Bosch Cross-Domain Computing & ADAS (XC-CP) Team develops high-quality state-of-the-art Automotive Head Unit and Home Appliance Linux/Android-based systems.

Together with other Bosch locations worldwide we provide software solutions for navigation vehicle functions autonomous driving camera and IoT features to the car marker. Our team also contributes to Bosch smart home & IoT solutions through SW delivery to Home Appliance products.

We are looking for talented SoC1 Embedded SW Engineers in Central Computer In-Vehicle Infotainment ADAS and Driver Monitoring with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our development team.

Key Responsible:

• Core QNX Development:You will develop implement and maintain robust system services libraries and resource managers for the QNX Neutrino RTOS focusing on real-time performance and system stability. 
• System Bring-Up & Bootloader:You will contribute to the development and adaptation of bootloaders (e.g. U-Boot) and support initial board bring-up activities using hardware debuggers. 
• Platform Integration & Verification:You will be responsible for integrating software components debugging system-level issues and helping to maintain our CI/CD build and test pipelines. 
• Performance Analysis:You will participate in optimizing system performance by analyzing boot time and runtime resource usage within the QNX OS. 
• Team Collaboration:You will work closely with senior developers and architects actively participating in technical discussions and contributing to a culture of quality and continuous improvement. 

Qualifications :

• Personality:You are a motivated and accountable team player with a strong desire to learn and contribute to complex projects. 
• Working Style:You have an analytical and goal-oriented approach with an eagerness to solve technical challenges both independently and as part of the team. 
• Experience and Know-how: 
  • Professional experience in embedded C/C development for POSIX operating systems preferably includingQNX. 
  • Familiarity withbootloader conceptsand the role they play in hardware initialization. 
  • Experience with developing or integrating software for embedded hardware ideally including exposure toBoard Support Packages (BSPs). 
  • A foundational understanding oflow-level debuggingon hardware (e.g. using JTAG) is a plus. 
  • Experience with modern software development workflows including version control (e.g. Git) and the basics ofCI/CD pipelines. 
  • An interest insystem performance optimizationand analysis. 
  • Knowledge offunctional safety standards (ISO 26262)is an advantage. 
• Language Skills:Very good English skills. 
• Education:A completed degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a comparable field.
