Bosch Cross-Domain Compute Enhance (XC-CE) Team is looking for full-time System Architect working at Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam. The XC-CE Team develops high-quality state-of-the-art Vehicle Compute-ECU Body-domain and Zone ECU Perfectly Keyless Vehicle Integration Platform and Central Gateway.

Job Description

The System Architect is responsible for defining developing and maintaining complex automotive embedded systems and system-of-systems throughout the product lifecycle.

The role requires deep understanding of customer use cases stakeholder needs system behavior internal and external interfaces and functional architectures. The System Architect acts as the technical owner of the system concept and ensures that requirements architecture interfaces and verification strategies are complete consistent traceable and aligned with customer expectations and industry standards.

Beyond individual contributions the System Architect provides technical leadership across multiple engineering disciplines including System Software Hardware Integration Verification & Validation Security and Functional Safety teams. The role drives technical decisions supports customer discussions and ensures successful execution of system engineering activities in compliance with ASPICE and Bosch development processes.

Main responsibilities

• System Requirements Engineering
  • Elicit analyze negotiate document and manage stakeholder requirements.
  • Translate customer and stakeholder needs into clear complete and testable system requirements.
  • Ensure consistency completeness feasibility and verifiability of requirements.
  • Define acceptance criteria and verification strategies for system requirements.
  • Establish and maintain end-to-end traceability between stakeholder requirements system requirements architecture elements and verification artifacts.
  • Conduct impact analysis for requirement changes and coordinate implementation across affected domains.
  • Review approve baseline and release system requirements.
• System Architecture & Design
  • Define and maintain system architecture for complex embedded systems and system-of-systems.
  • Analyze functional logical and technical interactions between software hardware communication networks cloud services mobile applications and vehicle systems.
  • Identify specify and maintain system interfaces and interaction models.
  • Lead architectural trade-off studies considering performance safety security cost maintainability and customer expectations.
  • Ensure architectural consistency across all engineering disciplines.
  • Support architectural decomposition into hardware software and verification work products.
  • Technical Leadership & Coordination
  • Serve as technical lead for system engineering topics within projects.
  • Coordinate system engineering activities across multiple teams and disciplines.
  • Guide and mentor System Engineers and junior team members.
  • Drive technical alignment between stakeholders project management customers and engineering teams.
  • Facilitate technical reviews workshops architecture reviews and requirement clarification sessions.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and complex debugging activities involving Software Hardware V&V Security and System Integration teams
• Verification & Validation Support
  • Define system-level verification approaches and success criteria.
  • Ensure system requirements are fully testable and traceable to verification activities.
  • Support creation and review of test strategies test specifications and validation plans.
  • Analyze system verification results and drive corrective actions when deviations occur
• Process Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Take ownership of ASPICE SYS.1 SYS.2 SYS.3 and relevant lifecycle work products.
  • Ensure compliance with Bosch development processes customer-specific processes and quality standards.
  • Support project assessments audits and process improvement initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement of system engineering methodologies templates and best practices
• Customer Technical Interface
  • Coordinate team on System Engineering tasks.
  • Lead and participate into debug session with other domains (Software Test Hardware etc Act as a primary technical contact for system-level discussions with customers.
  • Lead requirement clarification and technical alignment meetings.
  • Support effort estimation risk assessment and change request evaluations.
  • Present system concepts technical solutions and engineering decisions to customers and management.

Qualifications :

Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics Engineering Mechatronics Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Automotive Embedded Systems Development.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a System Engineering role.
• Proven experience in system requirements engineering and system architecture development.
• Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR-based systems and embedded software development.
• Practical experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN/UWB/BLE).
• Good understanding of microcontrollers and embedded platforms.
• Demonstrated capability to lead technical activities across multiple engineering domains.
• Self-motivated proactive and quality-oriented mindset.
• Fluent English communication skills both written and spoken.

Competence/Skills
Mandatory

• Strong experience in automotive embedded systems development.
• Deep understanding of System Engineering principles and System-of-System architecture.
• Strong experience in Requirements Engineering and Architectural Design.
• Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (V-Model).
• Experience with ASPICE-compliant development.
• Strong AUTOSAR knowledge and practical project experience.
• Hands-on experience with CAN UWB BLE protocols.
• Good understanding of embedded software hardware architecture and microcontroller-based systems.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to read understand and challenge customer specifications and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading technical discussions across multiple engineering domains.

Nice to have:

• Experience with LIN and NFC communication technologies.
• Experience with Radar systems and Radar measurements.
• Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262).
• Knowledge of Automotive Cybersecurity (ISO/SAE 21434).
• Experience with Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC) standards and Digital Key solutions.
• Experience with system integration and vehicle-level validation.
• Experience mentoring or leading System Engineering teams..
