- Responsible for managing product engineering data component portfolios and component strategies across vehicle programs.
- Ensure the accuracy completeness and consistency of engineering data within PLM/Teamcenter systems.
- Optimize BOM cost develop domestic and global supplier ecosystems increase localization levels and establish a sustainable supply chain.
- Ensure engineering data component portfolios and supplier ecosystems support product development requirements production plans and cost targets for vehicle programs.
- Support vehicle programs in achieving Quality Cost and Delivery (QCD) objectives
1. Engineering Data Management
- Manage EBOM product configurations ECR/ECN processes and engineering data throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Control engineering data freeze milestones including PTO PP LS and SOP.
- Manage component libraries functional libraries and shared engineering data.
- Coordinate data integration between Teamcenter SAP MES and other enterprise systems.
- Ensure engineering data quality minimizing duplicate and obsolete data.
2. Component Strategy & Supply Chain Management
- Develop sourcing strategies for component categories including:
- Electronics
- PCB/PCBA
- ECUs
- Wiring harnesses
- Mechanical components
- Stamped cast and machined metal parts
- Plastic components
- Integrated modules
- Electronics
- Identify evaluate select and develop domestic and international suppliers.
- Build supply chain capabilities and drive localization and supplier diversification strategies.
- Lead technical and commercial negotiations with strategic suppliers.
- Participate in product planning supply chain planning and long-term supplier ecosystem development.
- Drive BOM cost optimization value engineering and product cost reduction initiatives.
- Collaborate with Procurement Supply Chain Manufacturing and Production Planning teams to ensure program volume targets are achieved.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with short- mid- and long-term production plans.
- Monitor supplier capacity and proactively identify and mitigate supply risks affecting production schedules.
- Lead localization dual-sourcing and cost-reduction initiatives to achieve product cost targets.
- Manage and drive component cost optimization programs to ensure BOM cost and vehicle cost objectives are met.
- Work closely with Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to support production plans and vehicle program cost targets.
3. Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Build and develop the Component Management and Engineering Data Management team.
- Establish KPIs operational processes and engineering standards.
- Coach and develop team capabilities.
- Promote a data-driven culture and continuous improvement mindset.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelors degree or above in Engineering Industrial Management Manufacturing Supply Chain or related fields.
- Electronics/Electrical Engineering background is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in product development component management engineering data management supply chain management or supplier development.
- Minimum 5 years of people management experience.
- Strong experience with Teamcenter/PLM EBOM ECR/ECN and Product Configuration Management is highly preferred.
- Experience in supplier development supplier management and supplier capability building.
- Experience in component strategy planning supply chain planning and supply risk management.
Technical Knowledge
- Good understanding of APQP PPAP IATF 16949 and automotive product development processes.
- Strong knowledge of engineering data management component lifecycle management and BOM structures.
- Understanding of localization strategies supplier ecosystem development and cost optimization methodologies.

Languages
- Fluent English for communication negotiations and international collaboration.
