• Carpet cleaning and extraction
• Preparing floors for cleaning buffing burnishing and refinishing
• Operating floor care equipment including auto scrubbers floor machines burnishers and vacuums
• Sweeping mopping and vacuuming hard and soft floor surfaces
• Performing floor maintenance to ensure a clean polished and professional appearance
• Cleaning various surface types throughout campus facilities
• Properly mixing using and disposing of cleaning chemicals and solutions
• Identifying and reporting maintenance or repair needs to management
• Following all safety procedures and cleaning schedules
• Delivering quality work in a timely and consistent manner

• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequently bend stoop kneel twist reach push pull and lift
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Climb ladders and work at elevated heights
• Work in confined or tight spaces when necessary
• Safely operate cleaning and floor care equipment
• Work around cleaning chemicals and other cleaning-related materials

• Reliable punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid drivers license or government-issued ID
• Social Security card required for employment verification
• Must successfully pass a background check
