Duration: 13-Week Contract Assignment
Schedule: MondayThursday 7:30 AM 3:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 32 Hours Weekly (Additional Hours May Be Available Based on Department Needs)
Traveler Pay: $54$57/hr ($2160$2280 Weekly) (Based on Experience)
Local Pay: $40$43/hr ($1600$1720 Weekly) (Based on Experience)
We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to join a busy Orthopedic Clinic within a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures ensuring high-quality imaging maintaining patient safety and supporting physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal and general medical conditions.
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare and position patients appropriately to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
- Conduct imaging procedures including extremities abdomen/GI spine pelvis chest and thorax studies.
- Assist with fluoroscopic and surgical procedures utilizing C-Arm technology.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and infection prevention protocols.
- Review images for quality accuracy and completeness before submission for interpretation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and healthcare staff to provide efficient patient care.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment according to manufacturer and facility guidelines.
- Support imaging needs in orthopedic emergency trauma and surgical environments as required.
- Provide compassionate patient-centered care while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification required.
- Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- Minimum one (1) year of X-Ray Technologist experience required.
- Experience in orthopedic imaging preferred.
- Level I Trauma experience required.
- Experience in Emergency Room (ER) and Operating Room (OR) settings preferred.
- Experience utilizing C-Arm equipment during surgical procedures required.
- Proficiency in:
- Extremity imaging
- Abdomen/GI studies
- Spine and pelvis imaging
- Chest and thorax imaging
- Surgical imaging and C-Arm procedures
- Strong understanding of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to image quality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
