Workers Compensation Coordinator

Job Summary
Park Nicollet is seeking a Workers Compensation Coordinator. Under the direction of the Director of Employee Health Services this position is responsible for the following key functions: overseeing the daily management of the workers compensation program including coordination with external agencies and Regions Hospital employees; managing the annual renewal of workers compensation insurance policies; facilitating effective communication within the department and with other hospital departments; organizing and maintaining department files and resource materials; and supporting collaboration with internal departments and external partners as related to the workers compensation program.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Experience or Equivalent Combination:
Three years of experience in the healthcare field
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively in person by phone and in written communication.
- Ability to establish working relationships with leaders staff outside agencies the public and physicians.
- Knowledge of OSHA and work comp related standards.
Ability to analyze complex claims data
Experience with Excel Word Teams Outlook
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree
Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
Workers compensation claim experience
