Workers Compensation Coordinator

Park Nicollet is seeking a Workers Compensation Coordinator. Under the direction of the Director of Employee Health Services this position is responsible for the following key functions: overseeing the daily management of the workers compensation program including coordination with external agencies and Regions Hospital employees; managing the annual renewal of workers compensation insurance policies; facilitating effective communication within the department and with other hospital departments; organizing and maintaining department files and resource materials; and supporting collaboration with internal departments and external partners as related to the workers compensation program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education Experience or Equivalent Combination:

  • Three years of experience in the healthcare field

• Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively in person by phone and in written communication.
• Ability to establish working relationships with leaders staff outside agencies the public and physicians.
• Knowledge of OSHA and work comp related standards.

• Ability to analyze complex claims data

• Experience with Excel Word Teams Outlook

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education Experience or Equivalent Combination:

  • Bachelors degree

• Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

  • Workers compensation claim experience
