In this role you will support Amplifon Hearing Health Cares workers compensation business by coordinating hearing healthcare services and managing case-related activities from initial referral through ongoing follow-up. Youll serve as an important point of contact for injured workers claims professionals healthcare providers and client partners helping ensure cases move forward accurately efficiently and with a high level of service.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organized detail-oriented comfortable managing multiple priorities and able to take ownership of their work. Previous workers compensation experience is helpful but not required.
Compensation: Based on qualifications we anticipate the hiring range will be $23.00-$25.25 per hour. This position is also eligible to participate in a quarterly incentive program.
Work Arrangement: This position may be performed onsite or remotely for candidates residing in one of the states in which AHHC operates: IA MD OH SD TX FL IL KY MN MO NC SC.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm CST / 8:30am-5:00pm EST.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the Customer Journey
Serve as a primary point of contact for claimants claims adjusters healthcare providers and other partners delivering responsive and professional service.
Coordinate referrals appointments and next steps to help customers access hearing healthcare services in a timely manner.
Manage communication across phone email and internal systems while keeping stakeholders informed throughout the process.
Help customers understand available services processes and next steps while addressing barriers that may delay care or case progression.
Manage Cases and Follow-Up
Provide timely status updates and follow-up throughout the lifecycle of workers compensation cases.
Monitor case activity identify outstanding items and take ownership of follow-up actions.
Coordinate communication among claimants providers adjusters and vendor partners to keep cases moving forward.
Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure activities meet quality compliance and service standards.
Manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy responsiveness and attention to detail.
Support Operations and Continuous Improvement
Assist with audits reporting activities escalated case resolution and other operational initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve processes efficiency and the overall customer experience.
Participate in training and development to build knowledge of hearing healthcare and workers compensation services.
Collaborate with internal teams to support departmental goals and broader business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of professional experience in customer service healthcare administration insurance claims support case coordination medical scheduling benefits administration contact center operations or a related environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities cases and deadlines.
Strong attention to detail follow-through and documentation accuracy.
Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently take ownership of responsibilities and follow through on outstanding items.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel along with the ability to learn new technology and systems quickly.
Ability to build effective working relationships with customers providers claims professionals clients and internal partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in workers compensation insurance claims support healthcare administration case coordination scheduling benefits administration or a contact center environment.
Experience using CRM case management or customer service platforms.
Experience with Five9 or another cloud-based contact center platform.
Familiarity with ERP practice management point-of-sale provider portal or client portal systems.
Demonstrated ability to problem-solve prioritize changing needs and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
