Note

Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and an active law license in good standing in the state where they will practice. Prior workers compensation experience is preferred but not required. We welcome newly licensed attorneys and candidates with strong litigation negotiation or client advocacy skills.

Job Description

  • Represent injured workers in workers compensation claims negotiations hearings and litigation.
  • Evaluate workplace injury cases and develop effective legal strategies from intake through resolution.
  • Advocate for clients in disputes involving medical benefits lost wages disability and workplace injuries.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers employers and opposing counsel.
  • Prepare pleadings motions discovery depositions and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients at mediations hearings trials and other proceedings.
  • Review medical records employment information and supporting evidence to strengthen claims.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and legal support staff to manage cases efficiently and provide exceptional client service.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar license in good standing in the applicable state of practice.
  • Strong legal research writing negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Excellent communication organization and case-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases deadlines and client relationships.
  • Compassionate professional and results-oriented approach.
  • Workers compensation personal injury plaintiff-side litigation or insurance claims experience preferred.
  • Newly licensed attorneys with a strong desire to learn are encouraged to apply.

2 to 3 years: $80000 to $95000 (estimated);

4 to 6 years: $95000 to $120000 (estimated);

7 years: $120000 to $145000 (estimated)
