Title: Workday Extend Configurator
Location: Warren MI or Austin TX or Bay area CA can work Remote
Duration: 6 months CTH

The Role: Client is seeking a skilled Workday Extend Configurator to design develop and maintain robust Extend solutions within the Workday platform. This role is critical to ensuring that custom applications are effectively built using the latest Workday capabilities and consistently meet or exceed business requirements.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications): Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of HR Technology experience (Workday).
2 years of most recent hands-on experience in building and debugging
Workday Extend Applications creating Workday custom reports calculated fields and XSLTs.
Proven ability in determining IT system requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
Expertise in utilizing product configurators specifically within the Workday platform (Workday Extend Studio etc.).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
AI & Intelligent Systems Requirements
Basic high-level understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts with awareness of common use cases.
Some exposure or interest in how AI can be used in enterprise platforms such as simple automation basic analytics or improving user experience.
Familiarity with AI tools or platforms is a plus but not required; willingness to learn and explore new technologies is important.
Interest in identifying simple opportunities where AI can improve workflows productivity or platform operations.

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
Workday certification in relevant modules (e.g. Extend Integrations)
is a plus.

Strong proficiency in Computer Program Design Techniques and experience
with various Computer Languages.

Demonstrated experience in Web Programming Languages for developing and
integrating applications.
