Position Summary
The Workday Endowments Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight configuration maintenance and continuous improvement of the Workday Endowments solution. This role serves as the functional lead for endowment accounting fund management reporting and related financial processes ensuring alignment with organizational policies and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead administration and optimization of Workday Endowments and related Workday Financials modules.
- Partner with Finance Accounting Advancement Treasury and IT stakeholders to define business requirements.
- Configure and maintain endowment funds spending rules reporting structures and workflows.
- Manage Workday release reviews testing and deployment activities.
- Develop and maintain reports dashboards and analytics supporting endowment performance and compliance.
- Oversee integrations between Workday and external financial or donor-management systems.
- Ensure data integrity security and adherence to organizational policies.
- Provide guidance training and support to end users.
- Drive process improvement initiatives and recommend system enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Information Systems or related field.
- 3-5 years of Workday Financials experience.
- Strong expertise with Workday Endowments Grants Revenue or related financial modules.
- Workday Financials certification preferred.
- Experience leading system implementations enhancements or support teams.
- Knowledge of endowment accounting fund restrictions spending policies and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Travel when requested by the client
Preferred Experience
- Higher education healthcare nonprofit or foundation environments.
- Experience with grants investments donor funds and regulatory reporting.
- Advanced reporting integrations and data governance experience within Workday.
