As an Accounting orFinance Intern at Washington Gas you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced finance professionals and contribute to meaningful projects that support business performance across our organization. Building on your classroom studies you will develop and enhance your technical analytical and professional skills while working closely with mentors and gaining valuable real-world experience.

What Youll Do
Depending on your team placement your responsibilities may include:
Assistwith financial analysis reporting and data validation activities.
Support accounting processes budgeting forecasting and performance tracking activities.
Prepare reports dashboards presentations and other materials for internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather analyze and interpret financial information.
Identifyopportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency through automation or best practices.
WhatYoullBring
Currently enrolled as anundergraduate studentin your sophomore or junior yearat an accredited institution pursuing a degree in Accounting Finance Business Economics orrelatedfield.
Proficient in Excel including formulas pivot tables and data analysis techniques.
Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communicationand organizational skills.
