WelderPosition:
Advance Welders operate and producetocustomers specificationswhileusingjobwork orders andblueprints. This position works closelywith other manufacturing departments while ensuring a safe and leanworkspace. This position will embrace and encourage continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proficient in assigned welding techniques
- Interpretation of shop drawings including weld wire symbology.
- Implement knowledge of wire and filler material applications for various steel alloys aluminum and galvanized metal.
- Use of conventional and precision measuring instruments
- Process inspection certification and documentation
- Welding equipment maintenance
- Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools
- Implement Safety and housekeeping daily
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications Requirementsand Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Welding Diploma or applicable years of experience
- Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters
- Ability to read tape measure
- Successful completion of an internal welding test
- Must be able to stand forlong periods
- Must be able tolift upto 50 lbs. throughout a 10-hourshift
- Must be willing to cross train in other areas
