Welder

As a Structural Welder you will set up tack and weld ferrous and nonferrous materials. You will utilize applicable welding procedure specifications and perform all duties in compliance with welding codes. Emphasis on aesthetic appearance and criticality of application are special considerations for this role. You will also be responsible for cutting grinding fitting and bending parts as well as performing testing and inspection of welds to meet quality requirements.

• Ability to certify in structural weld - 400 level
• Use of complicated drawings welding symbols shop mathematics and tools
• Equivalent to four years of high school plus technical training in welding
• Pass any required tests associated with applicable standards (AWS ISO MIL STD International ASNT)
• GMAW Certification or 3-5 years of equivalent experience
• ITAR/US Person required

• Experience welding large heavy industrial equipment
• Experience welding with stainless steel filler metal and associated equipment
