Welder

R.J. Corman Railroad Group is seeking a welder to join our team in Nicholasville KY.

Responsibilities:â

• Perform work on earth moving equipment railroad equipment and other structures
• Perform other duties as required.

Specialized or Technical Knowledge or Education and Experience:â

• 5 plus years experience in fabrication Mig and stick welding
• Have passed or able to pass state certification 3G/4G welding test using .045 flux core
• Able to read and understand blueprints
• Able to design and build projects
• Experience with brake press shear plasma cutter torch and iron worker
• Must be able to travel as needed

Physical Requirements:â

• Able to perform physical strenuous work
• Able to frequently bend stoop kneel and crouch
• Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 lbs
• Able to navigate into confined spaces as necessary
• Requires frequent twisting while operating equipment
