Position:1st Class Structural Welder

Job Location:Harvey LA

Hutco Branch: Harvey LA (Apply at Hutco branch)
Rate of Pay:$24.00 to $26.00 based on experience (Time and a half for overtime after 40 hours)

Description:

Hutco Inc. is seeking first-class structural welders specifically looking for skilled workers with experience in shipyards. A test will be conducted on-site to assess your capabilities. No TWIC card required. NO per diem available. Long-term work!! LOTS OF HOURS AVAILABLE!!

Requirements:
Enter and work in internally confined spaces.

Manipulate and transport loads of up to 50 pounds over distances of up to 200 feet

approximately 1 to 6 times during each 8-hour shift.

Manipulate and operate all machines and tools essential to the performance of the position

of a Welder.

Traverse gangways and scaffolding at varying heights.

Traverse and negotiate uneven heights between the dock and the vessel.

Traverse and negotiate uneven surfaces.

Maneuver around piping obstructions and web frames.

Ascend and work at heights.

Stooping squatting twisting kneeling and reaching
