Welder Hardfacer

NOV is actively recruitinga Hardfacerfor our location in Broussard LA to perform service on products associated with job/tool assignment while following procedure provided by the NOV Service Quality Team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall operation of preparation service and completion of Downhole tools
• Service tools in a timely manner without deviation from Service Quality procedure
• To complete demands of the lead hand pertaining to tool production
• Develop accurate and complete data pertaining to service documentation in a timely manner
• Responsible for the efficient and safe operation of equipment to perform duties required
• Interact with personnel in other departments and disciplines
• Participate in action plans for new projects defined by supervisor
• Maintain the work environment as outlined by the shop supervisor
• All other duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in Bit Repair with expertise in Hard Facing
• Experience servicing of pertinent tools preferred
• Familiarity of company productspreferred

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Mechanically inclined preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to be a team-player
• Strong communication skills
• Adaptable with the ability to learn quickly and work flexible hours
