Volt is immediately hiring Welderin Clarksville TN

As a Welder you will:

• Be responsible for performing MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless-steel pipes.
• Be responsible for welding couplings onto pipes and assembling pipe sections through precision pipe-to-pipe welding.
• Be responsible for carrying out specialty welding tasks on spool pieces pipes and related components.
• Be responsible for welding outlets onto carbon steel pipe.
• Be responsible for inspecting completed work for defects alignment of fittings and seam splits in pipe.
• Be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe welding station while conforming to safety and quality standards.
• Be responsible for reporting equipment malfunctions safety issues and repair needs promptly.
• Be responsible for reading and interpreting work instructions general paperwork and online training modules in Workday.
• Be responsible for using tape measures and basic measuring tools to verify product dimensions.

This is a full time Contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 35 years of welding and fabrication background work without training.
• MIG and TIG welding experience in production or fabrication environments
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Prior experience welding stainless steel and carbon steel pipe in fabrication settings
• Experience with spool fabrication outlet welding and pipe-to-pipe precision welding
• background in identifying weld defects and performing corrective repairs
• Familiarity with safety protocols and maintaining high-quality standards in fast-paced environments

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.
