Job Description
Position Summary:
Responsible for MIG and TIG welds to rotor cores lamination rings and brazing
Duties & Responsibilities Information:
- Makes correct settings on welders including speeds and feeds as well as proper setups of products to be welded
- Inspects quality of material being welded necessary to prevent rework
- Assembles laminations to lengths
- Presses and welds rotor cores
- Takes coils and measures to size cuts to length and puts ring in jigs and welds
- Grinds and cleans rotor cores after welding
- Brazes copper pole pates and copper conduction rods
- Exercises good housekeeping
- Observes required safety practices
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader
Necessary Skills:
- Must be able to read and write
