Job Summary

Wealth AdvisorWashington Trust Wealth Management is seeking a client-focused and relationship-driven Wealth Advisor to provide comprehensive advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and families. This role is centered on helping clients achieve their financial goals through holistic advice thoughtful planning and ongoing ideal candidate holds a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) credential and brings a strong commitment to fiduciary responsibility and client service ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain long-term trusted relationships with clients by delivering personalized goals-based financial adviceDevelop and implement comprehensive financial plans including retirement estate tax insurance and wealth transfer strategiesConduct regular client reviews and proactively adjust plans based on life events market changes and evolving goalsServe as the primary contact for clients providing ongoing counsel and educationPartner with internal specialists (trust tax investment planning and estate professionals) to deliver integrated wealth solutionsWork collaboratively with Wealth Administrators and Associates to ensure client service standards are metGuide clients through complex financial decisions with clarity and confidenceMaintain data on clients in system of record and designation and/or CTFA credential required (or in progress with a defined timeline to completion)Bachelors degree in Finance Business or a related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning wealth advisory trust services or related fieldStrong knowledge of financial planning disciplines including retirement estate tax and fiduciary strategiesDemonstrated ability to build and sustain client relationshipsExcellent communication presentation and interpersonal skillsCommitment to providing exceptional client service and putting clients best interests firstPreferred QualificationsExperience serving high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clientsFamiliarity with financial planning tools and CRM systemsWhat Sets You ApartPassion for helping clients achieve long-term financial well-beingStrong emotional intelligence and relationship management skillsAbility to integrate planning strategies with trust and fiduciary considerationsClear communicator who can simplify complex financial conceptsProactive and service-oriented mindsetWhy Join UsWashington Trust has been committed to serving as a trusted advisor and supporting the long-term financial well-being of our customers and our communities since 1800.
