WaterWastewater Project Engineer

RESPEC seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer in our Water market sector located in Colorado Springs Loveland and Denver Colorado.

Qualifications :

Required:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering or a related engineering field
• Minimum 8 years of experience related to water and wastewater facilities including treatment collection distribution and pumping systems
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain Colorado licensure through reciprocity
• Experience leading engineering tasks and coordinating project teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess a valid drivers license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel

Preferred:

• Experience serving as a technical lead on complex water and wastewater projects
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic engineering principles and water/wastewater infrastructure
• Experience developing scopes of work project budgets schedules and professional service proposals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office GIS and AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience working directly with municipal clients and regulatory agencies
• Active participation in professional organizations and industry conferences

Additional Information :

Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. The typical salary range for this position is $100000 to $155000 Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package. RESPEC is a 100 percent employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
