Job Summary
What You Will Do
Project Planning Design & Implementation
- Lead the planning design and delivery of water and sewer infrastructure projects.
- Conduct engineering analyses studies and system modeling to support project design.
- Review plans and specifications and resolve design or construction issues.
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead crossfunctional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Serve as a technical resource for internal teams and project stakeholders.
Stakeholder Regulatory & Community Engagement
- Coordinate with internal teams contractors regulators and the public to ensure compliant project delivery.
- Maintain accurate utility documentation including GIS data and asbuilt records.
Operational Reliability & Safety
- Support reliability efforts through occasional oncall or extendedhour response needs.
- Promote safe sustainable and costeffective engineering practices across all work activities.
Qualifications
What is Required
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive civil engineering experience within a utility water/wastewater or infrastructure environment.
- EngineerinTraining (EIT) certification at hire; ability to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) licensure when eligible or within two years.
- Valid drivers license.
- Proficiency with engineering software modeling tools and GIS/mapping systems.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills including the ability to explain technical information to nontechnical audiences.
What is Preferred
- Experience with utility design construction oversight or municipal engineering.
Familiarity with water/wastewater system modeling or surveying practices.
