Nucor Steel-Hertford County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Warehouse Runner. The successful candidate will be responsible to do the following: assist with area housekeeping and safety efforts; receive store inventory and issue parts and consumables from stock for production and maintenance personnel; expedite the plant delivery service; work with computerized systems to perform warehouse functions; perform cycle counts lead and support safety & continuous improvement this is a day position the successful candidate will assist and be responsible for covering rotating shifts and working scheduled and unscheduled is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge/skillset of Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service
- Eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship
- Proficiency with MP2
- Experience in steel manufacturing.
- Experience in a warehouse environment.
