Job Summary

Position Summary:At Amphenol Industrial Operations The Warehouse Material Handler will be responsible for accurately tracking and recording inventory movements maintaining inventory databases and ensuring the timely and efficient flow of materials throughout the manufacturing facility. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Duties and Responsibilities:Utilize computer systems and software to track and record inventory movements including receipts transfers and shipmentsMaintain accurate inventory records and databases ensuring data integrity and compliance with established proceduresPerform data entry tasks to update inventory systems with receipt and shipment information in a timely mannerCoordinate with production purchasing and shipping departments to ensure the availability of materials and components needed for manufacturing operationsMonitor inventory levels and alert management of any discrepancies shortages or overagesAssist in the loading and unloading of materials supplies and finished products using forklifts pallet jacks or other equipment as necessaryInspect incoming materials for damage discrepancies or quality issues and report any issues to the appropriate personnelOrganize and maintain storage areas ensuring materials are properly labeled stored and accessibleFollow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and othersParticipate in periodic inventory counts and audits to reconcile physical inventory with system recordsProvide support for special projects including material handling inventory control and data analysis as neededQualifications:Required:High school diploma or equivalentMust possess a valid certification for operating a standup forklift or successfully complete company provided training with the designated timeframeMinimum 1 year of experience working as a material handler in a similar role within a manufacturing environmentAbility to lift and carry objects weighing 50 pounds Proficiency in computer skills including data entry and familiarity with inventory management software or systemsAbility to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficientlyKnowledge Skills and Abilities:Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keepingEffective communication skills both verbal and writtenFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as neededWorking Conditions / Physical Requirements:The physical demands listed below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
